The perfume was so well-liked that in 1886 McConnell deserted guides entirely and started a perfume enterprise. From a small office in New York City, McConnell blended the organization’s initial fragrances himself, and recruited a crew of women being sales Associates.  you could right away smell the fresh citrusy sweetness mingled with exotic h
